Scene is depicted in a charmingly primitive style.See photos. Mounted on thick paper on the back of which are two more images half-sheet each of two battle scenes being the "Bataille de Coulmiers" and the "Bataille de Dijon" which bear dates of 1870 and 1871 so I am assuming that the "Calvaire" is from the same period. Vividly hand-colored in 5 colors. Scene is depicted in a charmingly primitive style.See photos. Mounted on thick paper on the back of which are two more images half-sheet each of two panels of 12 images each showing childhood scenes; one is called "Jeux enfantins" the other "La Vraie et la fausse Charite."
