18315053No place: L'Imprimerie De Crapelet 1831. First edition. Good. Quarto 75 pages untrimmed worn; x-library in a pamphlet binder.

Louis-Henri-Joseph de Bourbon Conde prince de Conde died under mysterious circumstances of strangulation. He was the last prince in the line. Dr. Gendrin was consulted. Was the death accidental suicide or murder. All were possible. Gendrin's report occupied 55 pages in the March issue of "Transactions médicales". This apparently lengthier account appears to be the first separate edition. I find no other copies of this. Note: the Bourbon prince was found strangled with his feet on the floor. A later possible explanation was suggested to be explained by what is now known as autoeroticism.
L'Imprimerie De Crapelet unknown
