Most of the photos are numbered in the negative & the mounts each bear the printed imprint of the photographer with his Bond Street New York address. The images are a bit light. The mounts are wavy soiled foxed & one has the lower corner chipped away otherwise Good or better. <br/><br/>A pioneer of architectural photography Albert Levy 1844–1847 - 1907 was a French photographer active in Europe and the United States. He produced thousands of images documenting the history of civil domestic and church architecture in France Italy Germany the United Kingdom Austria the Netherlands Switzerland and the United States. Significant collections of his work can be found at the Bibliothиque Nationale de France the Avery Architectural and Fine Arts Library at Columbia University and the Art Institute of Chicago. This magazine was only published for a short time though it managed to include stories by important literary figures wonderful photomontage and avant garde photo foldouts strange erotica tales of urban life reports on "sexual life among the proletariat" etc. etc. Under the broad rubric of "ero-guro nonsensu" the literary and artistic scenes of pre-War Japan as embodied here in CRIMINOLOGY MAGAZINE explored the margins. This is the seventh number of the third year of its publication. As might be expected the editor Imada Kingo was a multitalented writer and artist both who became best known for his children's stories. With wear at the tail of the spine else very good. Especially noteworthy are the photos reproduced done by Horino Masao the important avant- garde photographer. Interesting and very unusual publication. unknown books

Elaborately-produced and lavishly-illustrated book about the amazing collection of vintage automobiles assembled by gambling magnate Bill Harrah founder of Harrah's Hotel and Casino and open for public visitation in Reno Nevada. There are three primary sections of the book: One "The Operation of Harrah's Automobile Collection" including a biography of Harrah himself who died in 1978; Two "The Great Cars of Harrah's Automobile Collection"; and Three "A Tour of Harrah's Automobile Collection"; as well as a complete list of all 1464 vehicles owned by the Collection at the time of Harrah's death. NOTE that although the limitation page states that the book "includes a photographic portfolio and a lifetime pass to the collection" neither of those things is present with this copy.
