However they once provided general provisions under the brand name "Amcehat" through a mail order service and also operated several retail stories in the Mid-Atlantic area. As described in a 1908 issue of Good Housekeeping this cookbook "contains many recipes for home and hostess cookery not to be found in the average volume of the kind".
