The British Hard Court Championships is a defunct Grand Prix tennis and WTA Tour affiliated tennis tournament; the inaugural tournament was held in 1924 in Torquay moving to the West Hants Tennis Club in Bournemouth England in 1927 and was held there until 1983. It was discontinued after that year due to lack of support. In 1936 Fred Perry was the winner of the Men's singles; in the year of this program Bunny Austin was one of the semi-finalists and was eventually the winner. The holder of the Ladies' Singles was Kay Stammers; she did not take part in 1937 the winner being Anita Lizana though Kay Stammers did win again in 1939. [For the LTA, by Sydenhams, Printers].
