Engineering data were provided the Engineering Board on the basis of which this German mine was substantially duplicated. This mine is known as the TMi-43 Indicator Mine'' - from the comments of the NDRC Project Supervisor Semi Joseph Begun 1905-1995. Begun was a German-American engineer and inventor who was at the time the Vice President of Research for the Brush Development Company Cleveland Ohio.
