Pages are otherwise clean and unmarked. In December of 1971 the 37th Annual Heisman Memorial Trophy Award was presented to Auburn University's Pat Sullivan "The Touchdown Machine." Sullivan was chosen as the outstanding college football player in the United States for 1971. This January 1972 issue features an article about that presentation and 24 photos from the ceremony. Among the photos are several of Pat Sullivan a number of actor John Wayne "The Duke" and previous Heisman winners including Elroy 'Crazy Legs' Hirsch Jim Plunkett Dick Kazmaier Pete Dawkins and Larry Kelley.
