Publisher's pictorial boards illustrated and lettered in black and gilt beveled edges a.e.g. Minor scuffing to endpapers edges of boards and along joints. Very good or better.

Scarce 19th century collection of bicycle poems. We find the publisher only having issued this title and perhaps one other according to OCLC. Interestingly we find a short review in Outing: An Illustrated Monthly Magazine of Recreation from 1889:

"Nothing marks the increased popularity and importance of the cycle more than the rapid growth of its literature. a volume to meet with a ready acceptance from every lover of the wheel and oar. The author shows his genuine ardor for these sports in every page and imbues the products of his pen with this spirit."

OCLC cites 9 holdings. . E. Stanley Hart & Co unknown
