Un kayak del genere, munito di vela e derive laterali, traversò l'Atlantico almeno due volte negli anni '30.

Periphery features illustrations of the many products offered by the Great Eastern Dispensary Ltd. Approximately 30" x 20". Crimped metal strips protect top and bottom edges. A picture of 'Excellent account of people, social conditions, economics and political life but is of special significance on natural history' (Bruns - Angling Books of the Americas 164). Not in Sabin or Howes. His sneak-box was a small duck hunters' boat that looked like a row-boat. The author had also written 'Voyage of the Paper Canoe.' A classic American travel.
