Peel a lifelong player who lent his name to both tournaments and terms of the sport. Croquet enjoyed a resurgence in the Edwardian era during which this book was printed and the Croquet Association continues as the official governing body of English croquet. Slazenger’s manufactured and sold sporting equipment particularly for tennis and croquet. This is a lovely and well kept piece of memorabilia of a bygone England of cucumber sandwiches and bowling greens complete with detailed rules regulations and etiquette. unknown
