Edition of 1926 of the humourous social novel written by Edward Verrall Lucas (1868-1938). Verrall was very popular at his time and wrote some 100 books about cricket, London and travel. The first edition of this novel was published in 1910. Manuscripted notes inside. Cloth cover with golden decorations in the plate and spine in fair general conditions slightly discoulored. Occasional foxings.

Cloth is almost completely detached on back cover. Regardless, text and illustrations are still clean, tight and bright. A worthy rebinging project.
