Young in Wien erschien und worin neben einigen humoristischen Aufsätzen auch Beiträge in Poesie und Prosa von J. G. Seidl, O. Prechtler, Gräffer, Kaltenbrunner und anderen Wiener Schriftstellern aufgenommen waren." (ADB 52, 225) Laut Czeike (Bd. I, 248) war Barach der erste, der in Wien die Karikatur einsetzte.
