Seine Kindheit verbrachte er tlw. bei Verwandten in Brüssel wo er in Berührung mit der frankophonen Literatur kam. Vorliegendes Buch weicht vom sonstigen Verlagsprogramm insofern ab als damals vorwiegend Evangelien- u. Gebetbücher od. Kalender wie z.B. genealog.-herald.
