Es ist die erste vollständige Übersetzung in die deutsche Sprache. Als Vorlage für die in Prosa gebrachte Übersetzung des in Versform geschriebenen Originals "La Pucelle d'Orleans" diente Moreck das ist Konrad Haemmerling ein nicht gedrucktes Manuskript von Magda Janssen aus der Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts. Mit dem Ex Libris von Howard Lind Nelson auf dem Innendeckel sowie einem datierten handschriftlichen Vermerk wo und wann er das Buch erworben hat. Previous-owner signature on the Title Page; two other faint signatures on Page One of the text. Generally bright and unfoxed. Rubbed margins bumped and with some chipping to the leather; there is some minor loss at the top of the Title Page. The covers are rather stiff to turn.
