This work was written by Scottish novelist and poet George John Whyte-Melville. The novel follows the adventures of an interpreter and his time at war. Bound in half calf with cloth to the boards. Externally smart with fading to the spine slight bumping and rubbing to the extremities and slight marks to the boards. Binder's signature to the front pastedown with minimal offsetting to the extremities of the endpapers and light spotting to the rear.
