Inside find ownership date and initials on flyleaf purchased year of publication and a half-sentence underlined shakily in ink on p.v of the Preface. We see no other marks nor other sorts of flaw. Smith who died at the age of 45 after inheriting a very profitable publishing business begun by his grandfather.
