Blind stamped with the authors initials AC in gilt to the front board. The 325 pages are in excellent condition throughout with no inscriptions and are squarely bound. Decorated double endpapers featuring the writing notes of Camus to the front and rear of book. This is the First Edition translated from the French by David Hapgood. The handwritten manuscript was discovered in the car wreckage which caused the authors untimely death in 1960. Housed in the fine dustwrapper with publishers printed price intact on front inside flap.
