Volume one is illustrated with a frontispiece and a copper-engraved portrait of Charles the Earl of Middlesex and portrait of the bust of Persius illustrated with an additional 23 engraved plates. Volume two illustrated with a frontispiece title page printed in red and black. Packer 29. Text internally very clean the boards are in exceptional condition. A beautiful set of two collections of stories from some of the greatest authors in the Western canon with translations from one of the greatest translators of Classical literature.
