Sie redet uns mit einem Thema ins Gewissen, das absolut nicht zeitgemäß zu sein scheint: Sie schreibt vom unbefriedigten Lesehunger in ihrem afrikanischen Heimatkontinent, von einem Lesehunger, der durch keine besonderen Maßnahmen erst hatte geweckt werden müssen - und von der Übersättigung mit Büchern in unseren Breitengraden.
