This is a comprehensive guide to the important collection of scientific and cultural books that 'made things happen' as assembled by Ian Fleming and Percy Muir in the 1930s. The collection was deemed so valuable that it was removed for safekeeping to the secure Bodleian Library during the war and books from the collection were displayed at several exhibitions in the 1950s and 1960s. Following the author's death the whole collection including most of the manuscripts and inscribed copies of his published books was secured by the Lilly Library.
