His encyclopaedic guide to the works of Ian Fleming 2012 won the 16th Breslauer Prize for bibliography. A checklist of an Ian Fleming collection 'preliminary to a bibliography'. A useful guide now superseded by Ian Fleming: The Bibliography Queen Anne Press 2012. A crisp fine copy with tucked-in compliments slip of antiquarian booksellers Bertram Rota and a clipped newspaper review by bibliophile David A. Randall TLS 1971. An uncommon publication which rarely appears on the market. From the collection of Ian Fleming bibliographer Jon Gilbert with his pencilled ownership to half title. This is a comprehensive guide to the important collection of scientific and cultural books that 'made things happen' as assembled by Ian Fleming and Percy Muir in the 1930s. The collection was deemed so valuable that it was removed for safekeeping to the secure Bodleian Library during the war and books from the collection were displayed at several exhibitions in the 1950s and 1960s. Following the author's death the whole collection including most of the manuscripts and inscribed copies of his published books was secured by the Lilly Library. A complete record of the sale of printed books and manuscripts which De Ricci described as "one of the most striking events in the history of the English sale-rooms". Huth's collection, which ranked among the finest in England, was rich in incunabula, voyages, Shakespearean and early English literature, and Bibles. De Ricci, pp. 151-154.
A La Haye chez Pierre Gosse J., 1754-1765, voll. 20 legati 21, (ciascuno diviso in due parti legate insieme, tranne il volume 23 le cui parti sono legate separatamente), in-16, legatura coeva in piena pergamena con titolo in oro ai dorsi (qualche conseguenza da umidità). Con vignetta incisa in rame ai frontespizi e alcune tavv., sempre in rame, f.t. Alla sequenza di volumi mancano i nn. 3, 9, 13; questo periodico di informazioni bibliografiche continuò però ad uscire almeno fino al 1778. Ampio strappo con perdita di testo all'ultima carta del volume quarto, qualche mancanza dovuta a tarlo a alcune sguardie (alla seconda parte dell'ultimo volume anche a carte di testo), qualche brunitura.

Roma, A. Formiggini Editore, 17 annate complete legate in 13 volumi, in-4, br. fittizia, conservate le coperte anteriori e posteriori delle brossure originali dei fascicoli. A tre carte di fascicoli del 1923 è stato ritagliato un articolo (che quindi mancano). Mancano 4 carte al fascicolo n. 10 del 1928. Per il resto condizioni più che buone. Sono presenti i frontespizi generali e gli indici di tutte le annate. Rivista, fondamentale per la cultura libraria in Italia, che fu fondata e diretta fino al 1938 dal Formiggini e poi proseguì sotto altre direzioni fino a circa il 1950. L'indice e il frontespizio dell'anno 1924 sono legati nel tomo del 1925 quelli dell'anno 1925 sono legati nel tomo del 1926. L'insieme:

Edizione originale poco comune pubblicata anonima ma opera del Ranghiasci. Raccoglie e descrive migliaia di opere che interessano citta' e paesi dello Stato Pontificio quindi Lazio, Emilia, Marche, Umbria. Questo esemplare contiene anche il Supplemento pubblicato in seguito nel 1793. Melzi, I, p. 134.
