The iconic portrait of Johann Gutenberg facing right holding a punch. First published in Vol. 2 of Joseph Moxon's Mechanick Exercises 1693 this most likely is an early 18th Century re-strike printed on wove paper dating from circa 1830. OCLC locates only one copy of this re-strike dated "18--". One tiny pin prick in blank area near left border else fine in a handsome wood frame. unknown
