Numero della rivista edita dalla Nebiolo di Torino, la maggiore fabbrica di macchine da stampa e fonderia di caratteri italiana. La rivista fu fondata nel 1889 da Giovanni Nebiolo e Giuseppe Levi con l'intento di sviluppare la conoscenza pratica della cromotipia, degli stampati commerciali, e in genere di tutto cio' che era applicazione artistica di caratteri e fregi tipografici costituendo una sorta di cronistoria figurata dell'evoluzione dell'arte italiana applicata alla tipografia. In questo numero: De' piu' noti scrittori di caratteri e calligrafi italiani nel Cinquecento di Raffaello Bertieri; Notizie editoriali e diverse nel campo grafico italiano. Le ultime 4 pagine presentano la macchina tipografica Ape con 2 illustrazioni.

In 8, pp. 8 con 1 tav. f. t. inc. all'acquaf. Br. ed. Specimen editoriale di quest'opera del Rosini pubblicata poi in 7 volumi tra il 1839 e il 1847. L'opera divisa in quattro epoche sarebbe stata anticipata da un volume di introduzione con 4 tavole, cui sarebbero seguite poi le dispese a partire dal giugno 1839.
In 8°, brossura editoriale, pp. XVIII(2), 41(3) con riproduzione del frontespizio della prima edizione edita a Venezia nel 1807. Edizione non venale, stampata in occasione dei 70 anni del libraio antiquario ed editore Alberto Vigevani, dalla Stamperia Valdonega di Verona, in 325 esemplari numerati (ns. 253), coi caratteri della serie Dante disegnata da Giovanni Mardersteig. Esemplare come nuovo, ma senza custodia in cartone.

Das Exlibris zeigt einen Vogel mit geöffneten Flügeln (Truthahn/Adlerschwingen) und dem Unterkörper eines Löwen (Beine/Schwanz). Es liegt in mehreren Varianten vor. Zwei Exlibris im größeren Format (ca. 17 x 8,8 cm): hiervon eines ganz in schwarzer Farbe, ein weiteres in schwarz/rot. Drei Exlibris im kleineren Format (ca. 12 x 5,8 cm): eines in schwarzer Farbe, eines in blauer Farbe, ein drittes in blau und hellem Rot. Bei letztgenanntem Exlibris handelt es sich um einen Entwurf (kein Druck!), das Exlibris ist auch deutlich fester weil das Papier hinterlegt wurde. Alle Exlibris tragen am unteren Rand die in die Platte gearbeitete Signatur "M Honegger 98".
