Sono elencate e descritte le opere a stampa pubblicate in Brescia nel XV secolo con dettaglio delle collazioni, le opere edite nell'agro, cioe' Toscolano, Messaga, Portesio, Barco, Collio di Valtrompia, Virola Alghise, Pralboino, Calvisano. L'autore, nativo di Ghedi, entro' nell'ordine francescano e si diede alla predicazione. Studioso, si dedico' a ricerche in particolare sui personaggi bresciani e quest'opera, dedicata alla storia della tipografia, e' una tra le sue piu' reputate.

The activity of this printer, one of the most important in Florence during the second half of the 16th century is distinguished by musical works. In 1581 he published the first book of this kind in Florence and continued with the music of some of the most famous composers.
