This poster was prepared to accompany the exhibition in Athens, Greece at the Deste Foundation for Contemporary Art on Kolonaki Square from June 20 to September 15, 1990. Poster size is 23" high X 31" wide. The exhibition was curated by Jeffrey Deitch. Seventeen artists included in the exhibition: Ashley Bickerton, Clegg & Guttmann, Walter de Maria, Laura Grisi, Martin Kippenberger, Jeff Koons, Liz Larner, Tatsuo Miyajima, Peter Nagy, Pino Pascali, Edward Ruscha, Manuel Saiz, Robert Smithson, William Stone, Thanassis Totsikas, Meg Webster and Andy Warhol. La fond• Charles Peignot, figlio di un celebre produttore di caratteri da stampa e lui stesso industriale e soprattutto creatore di tipi che ebbero grande influenza sull'evoluzione dei caratteri nel '900. Peignot era anche un uomo introdotto e che amava la vita di societ…: seppe avere tra i suoi collaboratori molti nomi d'elite e creare intorno alla rivista un allure di ricercata esclusivit…. La tiratura era limitata a circa 4.000 copie -pi— di un terzo andavano all'estero- e gi… tre anni dopo la pubblicazione la collezione dei primi quattro numeri valeva quasi dieci volte il prezzo di copertina.
