Occasional minor pencil marginalia. Boards have been heavily rub worn with heavy shelf wear to corners spine and edges. Corners are bumped and a heavily frayed. The Psalms has a title pg Cambridge John Archdeacon 1783. Condition is GOOD ; book lacks the rear board. Front hinge shows a fine crack but the binding is tight. Title pg of Common Prayer lacking first pg of the text is the contents pg. The ffep is charming: written in a contemporary hand is: Sarah Salt Hur Book. Steale not this book for feer of shame for here you see the owners name." On the back of this page are two ink drawings of "Queen Ann and King George 3". This with a description of the County Lancashire including a fold out map; an article on an improved mariner's compass including a fold out illustration; words and music to Sweet Nan of the Vale; a description of the machine that supplies water at the French palace at Versailles this with an illustrated plate that is missing half to two thirds. GOOD condition. Paper toned foxed and a bit stained throughout. Remains of original binding along the spine. Paper toned. Aforementioned plate missing a large section. No publisher unknown
