008627Cadabra Records Audio Book. Illus. by MOEBIUS Giraud Jean. New. Audio Book LP. 1st Edition. Vinyl LP Record CADABR-90 NEW Sealed in publisher's shrinkwrap - Alejandro Jodorowsky & Moebius The Eyes of the Cat LP - Score by Fabio Frizzi - Limited pressing on 150 gram vinyl - Printed on a deluxe heavy weight gatefold tip-on jacket - Includes insert with liner notes by Aaron Lupton and Fabio Frizzi - Art by Moebius - Frizzi here has crafted the perfect audio interpretation for Eyes of the Cat. Much as Jodorowsky and Moebius allowed the artwork to tell the story here one can follow the tale simply by listening. Aptly the album comes in at just around 25 minutes meaning one can read the comic while listening and really immerse themselves in the experience allowing the story images and music to unfold and take hold. As Aaron Lupton writes in the liner notes "This is stuff old dreams were made of so put the needle on the record and let them soar once more.". Cadabra Records unknown

Despite present hardships for Baum he continued to discontinue his Oz series as he moved to L.A. with Maud for a lower cost of living. "In this 'final' chapter of the Oz saga Baum at last resolved the issue that had so long puzzled his child readers: what would it take for Dorothy to accept Ozma's offer to live forever in Emerald City instead of on the bleak Kansas prairie The answer proved to be the impending foreclosure of Uncle Henry's farm. When Dorothy's guardians old and in ill heath explain to the child that they all would have to seek new work in the big outside world in order to survive the girl gives Ozma the prearranged signal to transport her to Oz taking her uncle and aunt with her" see Bienvenue & Schmidt The Book Collector's Guide to L. Frank Baum p.46.

Artist's name misprinted on cover label as was common: "From the first book he illustrated to the last one published during his lifetime Lucky Bucky in Oz 1942 Neill often signed his drawings 'Jno' sometimes followed by a period rather than John with 15 of Thompson's 19 official Oz titles carrying that attribution on the cover" see Bienvenue & Schmidt The Book Collector's Guide to L.
