An edition of this Christmas poem by Canadian poet Louis Frechette 1839-1908 the poet-laureate of Quebec first published as a poetical preface to the author's Noel au Canada in 1900. With small "Holiday Greetings" card signed by Leon Gelber and Theodore Lilienthal; also with a ms translation of the poem appears to be in the hand of Theodore Lilienthal which is printed in the original French text in the book. Printed for Leon Gelber and Theodore Lilienthal for Christmas 1936 by the Grabhorn Press.
