Very good/Fair. 8vo 8.75 x 7 inches publisher's red cloth in dust jacket book very good the versos of each of the color plates is foxed and facing pages have picked up the foxing as well; the color endpapers also have foxing on the versos of the flyleaves that has likewise affected the facing pages. Inscription on title page: Hope Larned from Uncle Percy Christmas 1927. Jacket is mainly complete but fair at best with lengthwise split along front joint and various chips and tears but housed in jacket protector it looks better than it catalogs. A very handsome edition of this classic. 1991 bookseller's receipt showed this sold for $110 back then. Frederick Warne hardcover
