Almost spotless but for a tiny mark to the front cover and a very small 5mm closed tear to the front edge. Beautiful hand coloured caricature by Fleury of Napoleon stepping from Elba to Paris in a single step. He is holding the tricolor flag in one hand and in the other a sword and an olive branch. He is watched by various members of the royal family equipped with telescopes each uttering a sentence as memorable as " As water water everywhere !" or "This man will make his way". Only Berry suggests "Let's wage a little war on him" In excellent condition bar a touch of darkening to the page edge. Unintelligible signature in ink to the verso of the engraving. 8 pages uncut. An excellent example. 325 by 250mm 12¾ by 9¾ inches. .
