Including stories such as: The Fox and the Crow The Lion and the Mouse and The Fox and the Grapes amongst others. Illustrated by Arnrid Banniza Johnston a Swedish sculptor and illustrator who spent the majority of her life and career in Britain. Dated from the British Library. In the original quarter cloth binding with pictorial paper covered boards. Externally smart with light wear and minor bumping to the extremities. The odd small mark to the boards. Original price-clipped dust wrapper is sound with light wear and chipping to the extremities. The odd small mark with light loss to the tail of the spine and panel edges. The odd closed tear has been sympathetically repaired with tape to the internal side of the wrapper. Internally firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot.
