This combined edition collects Reveries (1916) and The Trembling of the Veil (1922) with illustrations by Yeats' father Jack Butler Yeats. The binding design is by Charles Ricketts complete with Unicorn 'bookplate' on paste-downs. This work forms the sixth volume of Macmillan's 'Collected Edition of the Works' but is complete in itself. The International Workers Order (IWO) was a Communist Party-affiliated insurance, mutual benefit and fraternal organization founded in 1930 and disbanded in 1954 as the result of legal action undertaken by the state of New York in 1951. At its height in the years immediately following World War II, the IWO had almost 200, 000 members and provided low-cost health and life insurance, medical and dental clinics, and supported foreign-language newspapers, cultural and educational activities. Joel Entein (18751959) , was a Yiddish editor, educator, and translator. Entin was born in Pohost, Russia, where he received a traditional religious and secular education. He became active in Hibbat Zion and in 1890 moved to Moscow to work for Bnei Zion. He arrived in New York in 1891 where he audited classes at Columbia University.
