Leather spine cloth boards Corners and head/tail of spine very bumped/chaffed/scraped with loss. Four raised bands gilt title with gilt stamped compartments although the Gilt decoration and titling on spine is discoloured. Shiny white patterned e/p's. Front Hinge splitting and re-glued. All extrmities rubbed/fraying/chaffed and/or scraped. Previous owners inscription on e/p dated 1873. Otherwise no date found. Ten full page black and white steel engraved tissue guarded plates and lots of wood engraved vignettes in the text. A little very light Foxing. Frontispiece - Le Petit Poucet with tissue guard.
