With original box covered in brown speckled paper. Includes indexes. Second part has separate title page dated 1793; subtitle varies from first part. This popular work by Pietist writer Carl Heinrich von Bogatzky was owned by most Lutheran and Mennonite families in the 18th and 19th centuries. In Very Good- Condition: 1.5x3-cm. section of leather lacking at tail of spine; smaller section lacking from spine at upper back joint; slight loss at head of spine; leather overall is lightly rubbed; occasional light foxing; otherwise clean and tight.
