Second German language edition preceded by an edition printed in 1809 in Frederick Maryland. This edition is only illustrated with the portrait of Washington as is the second Frederick edition that appeared in 1810 similarly with only the portrait. In addition to the oval portrait of Washington the Lebanon edition includes engravings of the Death of Montgomery the Defeat of General Braddock the Battle of Lexington the Battle of Bunker Hill the Capture of Major Andre and the Surrender of General Cornwallis.
