Sulla falsariga delle proposte cinquecentesche del Trissino, il marchese Luigi Malaspina di Sannazzaro pubblica questo curioso volume in cui si propone un sistema per evitare l’ambiguità nei casi in cui un grafema esprima più di un fonema (C, G, E, etc.). L’opera, discorsiva, comprende alla fine due tavole in cui si vuole normalizzare l’accento di E e O nelle voci ambigue e alla fine una lettera esemplificante, di Annibal Caro, in cui lo stesso testo viene rappresentato coll’alfabeto corrente e quello proposto (la lettera diventa di “Annibal Karo”, per esempio). Raro (due copie in Iccu) e curioso. A XIX century project to reform the Italian Alphabet.
