Rebound sewn on sunk cords with marbled paper boards calf spine & cloth corners 164 4 pp. Marbled boards are neither particularly attractive nor particularly well-preserved much of the cloth is chipped off the corners but still solidly bound with a bit of chipping to leather at ends of joints. Holes in the paper near gutter provide evidence of an earlier stabbed binding. We find copies for sale of the Danish edition of this Danish-language novel but none of this American edition.
