Carrie 1." Andreas Vesalius 1514-1564 was a Belgian physician and author of an important early work on the human anatomy De Humani Corporis Fabrica. He was known variously as Andreas Vesalius Andreas van Wesel and Andre Vesale. In Very Good Condition: edges and boards are rubbed; spine is sunned; loss of some gilt at ends of spine; endpaper is separating over hinges but still solid; portrait is slightly foxed; very occasional foxing in text; otherwise clean and tight.
