Majestically illustrated by Foujita with numerous colour in-texte and full page format drawings each pasted delicately on the paper. <br /> A very good or better example of this scarce precious and much sought after work. Of the entire edition 55 copies were printed on Japon Imperial of which 25 are numbered 1-25 25 lettered A-Z with an original eau forte & 5 H-C. In addition 65 copies were printed on Hollande Van Gelder of which 50 are numbered 26-75 & 15 H-C. 425 copies were printed on Arches of which 400 are numbered 76-475 & 25 H-C. This lovely copy is example # 149 is therefore one of the 400 of 425 copies on Arches. Total copies all papers 545: 55 Japon 65 Holland 425 Arches <br /> <br /> A very Good copy indeed.
