His Fleurs D'ennui or Flowers of Boredom is a colection of four shorter pieces on the melancholy adventures of a soldier. The work consists of three stories and a travel piece. His Un Jeune Officier Pauvre or a poor young officer was first published posthumously. The other work to this set is a selection of Loti's writings edited by Henri Bonnemain with a short biography of Loti. In quarter morocco bindings with gilt stamping to the spines. Morocco to Fleurs D'Ennui is a different shade of red to Pages Choisies and Un Jeune Officier Pauvre. Externally all volumes are smart with some minor rubbing to spines and paper covered boards.
