André Maurois 1885 - 1967 was a French author. During World War I he joined the French army and served as an interpreter for Lieutenant Colonel Winston Churchill. In I938 Maurois was elected to the prestigious Académie française. He died in 1967 in Neuilly-sur-Sein after a long career as an author of novels biographies histories children's books and science fiction stories. Size is 280mm x 215mm. Condition is good.
