In this journal he printed his first poems many of which later appeared in 'Astarte' 1891. His lyrics based on the Greek form which he so much admired are masterpieces of style. In 1896 this novel was published to great success by Librairie Borel. See Larousse Dict. of Writers. Our copy was first published in 1902. Editions Jules Tallandier hardcover
