Lovely half morocco fine binding with flowers and fox color decoration on spine and vertical lines all done in an Art Nouveau style. Morocco is over textured marbled boards which match endpapers of card stock. Lovely color illustrations. Preliminaries the first page of story and a few leaves afterward have light to moderate foxing. Some sunning to leather spine an edges of boards. Slight crack of leather in upper front along gutter line. Binding is tight and beautiful and overall very good plus copy. Editions Rombaldi unknown

He goes on to state that it was the first binding he ever sold and the first binding he did in vellum. Provenance: bookplate of John Wallace Skinner.
