Ωστόσο στον σχολιασμό του κειμÎνου δεν κατÎστη δυνατόν να αντιστοιχηθοÏν πλήÏως οι πεÏιγÏαφÎÏ‚ της πηγής με τα δεδομÎνα της αÏχαιολογικής δημοσίευσης. Αντίστοιχα στις αÏχαιολογικÎÏ‚ μελÎτες που ακολοÏθησαν τη δημοσίευση των ΣωτηÏίου δεν υπάÏχει συμφωνία για το είδος και την Îκταση των επεμβάσεων της ανοικοδόμησης· δεν υπάÏχει επίσης ομοφωνία για την ακÏιβή σχÎση των ψηφιδωτών με το γεγονός της ανοικοδόμησης. Όσον αφοÏά τους ψηφιδωτοÏÏ‚ πίνακες που αποκαλÏφθηκαν μετά το 1917 στους ανατολικοÏÏ‚ πεσσοÏÏ‚ του Î½Î±Î¿Ï Î´ÎµÎ½ υπάÏχει συμφωνία για τη χÏονολόγησή τους και δεν Îχουν δοθεί πειστικÎÏ‚ εÏμηνείες για το εικονογÏαφικό πεÏιεχόμενο και την επιλογή των θÎσεων στις οποίες βÏίσκονται.
