Half-inch split to front joint at bottom else remarkably stiff and sturdy. Colonia is the stated place of publication but other sources say Venice. 206 pp. First Edition in Italian of the most famous work of Erasmus of Rotterdam. This work was translated probably by Raffale Pastore known as a translator of various Greek and Latin classics. The book feels marvelous in the hand.
