A very scarce series of caricatures alongside humorous poems and prose from science-fiction writer and artist Bohun Lynch and playwright Reginald Berkeley. The first edition of this very scarce work. In the original grey cloth boards with a decorative stamp to the rear board. 'Decorations and Absurdities' comprises a series of humorous depictions and satires of an array of figures such as Harry Tate Augustus John and Edmund Blunden. Profusely illustrated throughout with full-page black and white caricatures by Bohun Lynch a writer and artist who also holds authorship for science-fiction novels such as 'Menace from the Moon' 1925 and 'A Muster of Ghosts' 1924. With additional poems and prose from Reginald Berkeley a writer of stage plays and Hollywood screenwriter. In the original grey cloth binding. Externally very smart with light rubbing and bumping concentrated to the spine head and tail. Light marks to the spine and boards. Internally firmly bound.
