The title is generally translated The World as Will and Representation. Herein Schopenhauer maintains that life is a constant struggle and suffering the "heroic life project" that is doomed to fail. His call for realism and pessimism in the face of disaster to avoid sugar-coating reality makes this work always relevant and challenging. J.R. Osgood & Co unknown books
