Il donne dans cet ouvrage un "résumé fidèle de la doctrine de Fourier", des conceptions philosophiques qui ont conduit son maître à élaborer son système et tire les ultimes conséquences politiques et sociales de l'application de la "loi de l'harmonie universelle".
