In-12, broché, couverture imprimée, 105 p., qqs rousseurs, ex. non rogné. Edition originale posthume de cette lettre adressée par Charles Fourier au ministre de la Justice en 1803. Fourier répond aux accusations portées contre lui à la suite d'un article qu'il avait publié dans le "Bulletin de Lyon". Il y prophétisait une "épouvantable guerre européenne" qui se terminerait par la "paix perpétuelle". L'article eut un retentissement suffisamment important pour qu'il parvienne au Premier Consul. La "Lettre" est suivie de deux articles de Fourier reproduits du "Journal de Lyon" et de trois essais du phalanstérien Charles Pellarin. (Del Bo, 'Fourier et son école', p. 9. Einaudi, 4356). Bon exemplaire.
