Original pictorial cloth and blue leather binding in fair/good- condition with spine detached and marking to boards however this has not affected the binding which is still tight and solid. Inside light smatterings of foxing to text pages with all full page plates in remarkably good clean condition. A Scarce 1st edition of these misadventures of the peaceful Monsieur Dumollet who fearing a stagecoach accident journeys from Paris to Saint-Malo on a donkey to see his fiancé with many farcical mishaps on the way. <br /><br /></p> Georges Decaux hardcover
